CANINE ACTIVITIES:

I have owned and hunted AKC Labrador Retrievers for approximately 20 years, and bred 2 litters during that time. I finally was introduced to Brittanys 3 years ago,

purchased a Bitch  from Downwind Kennels, Vienna, Ontario, (CKC, AKC), and mated her with a Dog from Kartel Brittanys. I raised a beautiful, healthy, litter of 4 Dogs, and 2 Bitches.  (I kept the 2 females,  and 1 male, to maintain the lineage).

Further, I have attended Handling Classes regularly, with Instructor Sue Burrell, and finally exhibited one of my bitches "The Contessa Gretchen", for the first time, in December, 2007. We got a First Place (Blue Ribbon).  It was one of my greatest thrills, and I managed to maintain my "cool" in the ring.

I am a proud member of the Lewiston-Auburn Kennel Club, and I am looking forward to being part of the upcoming LAKC Championship Shows in September, 2008, in Topsham, ME.
