CANINE INTERESTS:

-Obtained My First Brittany "Lady Sarah Jane Ziggy", in 1990. I was in love.

-My first Breeding, gave me "CH The Count Rudolph", who subsequently became

  one of the top Field Trialing Brittanys in the country

-On picking up my "Rudy" in 1997, at a Maine Brittany Club, Field Trial, in

   Bowdoinham, ME

  I met Harry and Cay Lisewski, and after long negotiations, purchased their

  "Kaylish Kennels" and home in Mechanic Falls, ME. I renamed it "Kaylish-Kartel Kennels. My very own.

I quit the lucrative Mortgage Brokerage Business, and became a full-time Canine devotee.

 

  At last, my dream had come true!

 

  With my first Website, www.brittanydog.com , I was, finally, in the  dog business, full time, as a Breeder, Boarder, and Trainer.

  I attended Handling Classes with Bill and Sue Burrell (Master Handlers), and my husband, Artel (Whom I wed

  in 1988), did the Field Training, hence the new name "Kaylish-Kartel Kennels".

  IAfter the sudden demise of my beloved  "Rudy",  I was blessed with the birth of "Rudy II" -

 (My late Count Rudolph's Grandson) through a breeding with a beautiful Canadian Liver Bitch

 "Downwind's Suzie's Hot Cocoa", which changed my life. 

- Dog Friendly New England, for the second time, listed Kaylish-Kartel Kennels as the leading

  boarding kennel in the Lewiston-Auburn area.  The rest is history. . . .
